Dear Editor, My vehicle also adds up 50,000 km plus within a year, which I also use for work and my wages are around the $2,500 a month mark.

All’s fair in love, war and politics? We’ve all heard it before, and it seems every couple of months or so, one or more politicians and one or more level of government get caught breaking some rule, saying something stupid or otherwise making an ass

Hopping on the PC nomination bandwagon isn’t a decision to be taken lightly — it’s a big job and for each of the candidates, it means big changes in their personal and professional lives.

Here we go again. As we all know by now, the Pembina Hills school division finds itself without a superintendent under fairly suspicious circumstances. And once again, no one is saying anything about what those circumstances are.

They tempt us, they goad us. They are spiteful, they are beneficent and as they smile ever so sweetly at our ambition and vanity, they are often quite irresistible. Come the new year, come the resolutions.

The start of a new year means different things to different people. For some, it’s a chance to wash away the troubles of the past and start fresh.

Once again, we have had to file a request under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) Act in order to, hopefully, get some answers about what exactly is going on over at Pembina Hills.
